This much of speech of ours was sung in praise of Indra. Therefore the threefold chants increase speech here; the threefold speeches roar.
To that Indra, is the poetical and articulate prayer to be recited; to him the conveyers of pious praise, the sons of Atri, raise their hymns; the sons of Atri illume their hymns.
To him, to Indra must be sung the poet's word, the hymn of praise. To him, accepter of the prayer, the Atris raise their songs on high, the Atris beautify their songs.
