Indra came who knows the treasures to give wealth, the draughts of the cows. Let the bow-bearing leader, not overcome by rivals, drink the milky sun.
May that Indra who is the donor of wealth, who knows (how) to distribute riches, come (to our sacrifice) marching boldly like a warrior; and may he, being thirsty, and desirous (of the draught), drink of the effused Soma juice.
MAY Indra come to us, he who knows rightly to give forth treasures from his store of riches. Even as a thirsty steer who roams the deserts may he drink eagerly the milked-out Soma.
