Formerly I uttered your deeds as ear and hand, I made the new mighty works. Strong were ye who bore apart the radiant ones; both waters triumphed—o drink, men with varied gifts.
I celebrate, Maghavan, your ancient exploits, and those which you have newly achieved; wielder of the thunderbolt, subjugating both heaven and earth, you have distributed the wonderfully bountiful waters to man.
I will declare thine exploits wrought aforetime, and, Maghavan, thy deeds of late achievement, When, Lord of Might, thou sunderedst earth and heaven, winning for man the moistly-gleaming waters.
