samatra gāvo'bhito'navanteheha vatsairviyutā yadāsan saṃ tā indro asṛjadasya śākairyadīṃ somāsaḥ suṣutā amandan
The kine stood around alike, yoked with calves beside them as they had given; Indra fashioned them with branches, the pressed soma flowing sweetly and abundant.
When the cows were separated from their calves, they wandered about hither and thither; but when the well-offered libations had exhilarated hi, then Indra, with his vigorous (maruts), reunited them (with their calves).
Divided from their calves the Cows went lowing around, on every side, hither and thither. These Indra re-united with his helpers, what time the well-pressed Soma made him joyful.
