I saw a splendid, white-tusked one, a field-born spear — a wondrous implement. Grant us immortality; mighty Indra, do this, make firm the hymns and offer the praised food.
I have seen him from a near plural ce, golden-toothed, bright-coloured, wielding (flames like) weapons, (when) offering to him the ambrosial, all-diffusing (oblation); what can those who acknowledge not Indra, who repeat not his praise, do unto me.
