चि॒त्रा वा॒ येषु॒ दीधि॑तिरा॒सन्नु॒क्था पान्ति॒ ये । स्ती॒र्णं ब॒र्हिः स्व॑र्णरे॒ श्रवां॑सि दधिरे॒ परि॑
citrā vā yeṣu dīdhitirāsannukthā pānti ye stīrṇaṃ barhiḥ svarṇare śravāṃsi dadhire pari
Where bright splendor shone near, where songs approach, the radiant one set the golden wellsprings around, placing fame about.
Among whom the ceremonial of many kinds is observed; who perpetuate the sacred hymns by their recital; by them the sacrificial viands are plural ced upon the strewn grass (at the sacrifice which) leads (the worshipper) to heaven.
They who have varied ways of thought, who guard, the lauds within their lips, And strew the grass before the light, have decked themselves with high renown.
