You, Agni Angirasa, are the hidden friend, seeker in the forest; you conquer falsehood, called mighty together with thousand sons, O Angiras.
The Aṅgirasas discovered you, Agni, hidden in secret, and taking refuge from wood to wood; you are genitive rated, being churned with great force; therefore they have called you, Aṅgiras, the son of strength.
O Agni, the Angirases discovered thee what time thou layest hidden, fleeing back from wood to wood. Thou by attrition art produced as conquer.ing might, and men, O Angiras, call thee the Son of Strength.
