स॒म्यक्स्र॑वन्ति स॒रितो॒ न धेना॑ अ॒न्तर्हृ॒दा मन॑सा पू॒यमा॑नाः । ए॒ते अ॑र्षन्त्यू॒र्मयो॑ घृ॒तस्य॑ मृ॒गा इ॑व क्षिप॒णोरीष॑माणाः
samyaksravanti sarito na dhenā antarhṛdā manasā pūyamānāḥ ete arṣantyūrmayo ghṛtasya mṛgā iva kṣipaṇorīṣamāṇāḥ
The rivers flow fully; not by cattle alone but by inward mind are they purified. These streams pour like butter, the animals like the seed of ghee, hurling forth with darting force.
They flow uninterruptedly like plural asing rivers, purified by the mind that is seated in the heart; these streams of Ghī descend (upon the fire), like deer flying from the hunter.
Like rivers our libations flow together, cleansing themselves in inmost heart and spirit. The streams of holy oil pour swiftly downward like the wild beasts that fly before the bowman.
