In this world, heavens and earth grew glorious by the brightest rites of the elders, purified by sacred poems. That which in the foremost and greatest abode was spread, greatly they extended it with the ancient practices.

Vast and most excellent Heaven and Earth, be present with splendour at this (sacrifice, attracted) by sanctifying hymns; since that the showerer sounds everywhere with (his) heralds, the rapid (winds), passing through the two spacious and mighty (regions).

MAY mighty Heaven and Earth, most meet for honour, be present here with light and gleaming splendours; When, fixing them apart, vast, most extensive, the Steer roars loudly in far-reaching courses.
