अदा॑भ्यो॒ भुव॑नानि प्र॒चाक॑शद्व्र॒तानि॑ दे॒वः स॑वि॒ताभि र॑क्षते । प्रास्रा॑ग्बा॒हू भुव॑नस्य प्र॒जाभ्यो॑ धृ॒तव्र॑तो म॒हो अज्म॑स्य राजति
adābhyo bhuvanāni pracākaśadvratāni devaḥ savitābhi rakṣate prāsrāgbāhū bhuvanasya prajābhyo dhṛtavrato maho ajmasya rājati
He poured forth the worlds to the worshippers; the god with Savitar’s laws guards the vows. He spread his mighty arms over the world’s peoples, the great one shines as the holder of the oath.
The divine Savitā unrestrained, illumining the regions, protects the righteous acts (of men); he extends his arms for (the direction of) the people of the earth; observant of obligations, he rules over the wide world.
Lighting all living creatures, neer to be deceived, Savitar, God, protects each holy ordinance. He hath stretched out his arms to all the folk of earth, and, with his laws observed, rules his own mighty course.
