आप्रा॒ रजां॑सि दि॒व्यानि॒ पार्थि॑वा॒ श्लोकं॑ दे॒वः कृ॑णुते॒ स्वाय॒ धर्म॑णे । प्र बा॒हू अ॑स्राक्सवि॒ता सवी॑मनि निवे॒शय॑न्प्रसु॒वन्न॒क्तुभि॒र्जग॑त्
āprā rajāṃsi divyāni pārthivā ślokaṃ devaḥ kṛṇute svāya dharmaṇe pra bāhū asrāksavitā savīmani niveśayanprasuvannaktubhirjagat
He brings forth the radiant earthly verses; the god shapes a hymn for his law. The puissant Savitar with his arms established the dwelling-place and fitted the world with hymns.
The divine (Savitā) fills (with radiance) the celestial and terrestrial regions, and boasts of his own function; Savitā puts forth his arms or (the work of) production, regulating the world, and animating it with light.
He hath filled full the regions of the heaven and earth: the God for his own strengthening waketh up the hymn. Savitar hath stretched out his arms to cherish life, producing with his rays and lulling all that moves.
