दि॒वो ध॒र्ता भुव॑नस्य प्र॒जाप॑तिः पि॒शङ्गं॑ द्रा॒पिं प्रति॑ मुञ्चते क॒विः । वि॒च॒क्ष॒णः प्र॒थय॑न्नापृ॒णन्नु॒र्वजी॑जनत्सवि॒ता सु॒म्नमु॒क्थ्य॑म्
divo dhartā bhuvanasya prajāpatiḥ piśaṅgaṃ drāpiṃ prati muñcate kaviḥ vicakṣaṇaḥ prathayannāpṛṇannurvajījanatsavitā sumnamukthyam
Bearer of heaven, lord of the world, progenitor frees the trembling one, the sage releases the captive; Savitar in benevolence loosens what is bound.
The supporter of heaven, the protector of the world, the wise (Savitā) puts on his golden armour discrimiator (of objects), filling (the world with light) Savitā has engendered great and laudable felicity.
Sustainer of the heaven, Lord of the whole world's life, the Sage, he putteth on his golden-coloured mail. Clear-sighted, spreading far, filling the spacious realm, Savitar hath brought forth bliss that deserveth laud.
