ए॒ष स्य भा॒नुरुदि॑यर्ति यु॒ज्यते॒ रथः॒ परि॑ज्मा दि॒वो अ॒स्य सान॑वि । पृ॒क्षासो॑ अस्मिन्मिथु॒ना अधि॒ त्रयो॒ दृति॑स्तु॒रीयो॒ मधु॑नो॒ वि र॑प्शते
eṣa sya bhānurudiyarti yujyate rathaḥ parijmā divo asya sānavi pṛkṣāso asminmithunā adhi trayo dṛtisturīyo madhuno vi rapśate
This very radiant dawn makes the chariot ready; around it the day’s wide light shines. The thrice-guarded team draws near, and the third of the honey-bearing ones breaks forth.
The sun rises; your chariot, (Aśvins), traversing (the regions), is associated with the divine (orb) on the summit (of the eastern mountain in it are three analogous kinds of food, and the leather vessel of the sweet Soma juice appears as the fourth.
YONDER goes up that light: your chariot is yoked that travels round upon the summit of this heaven. Within this car are stored three kindred shares of food, and a skin filled with meath is rustling as the fourth.
