Who, like the waters, was your equal; by what manner did the Ashvinis come, invoked and sung? Who of great mind and mighty fame cast off fear — long-lasting, never to be overcome?
What may be the fit measure (of your merits)? invoked by what praises do you come to us? who (can exist as) the object of your great wrath? Dasras, dispensers of sweet (water), defend us with your protection.
What is the prayer that we should bring you, Asvins, whereby ye come to us when invocated? Whether of you confronts e'en great betrayal? Lovers of sweetness, Dasras, help and save us.
