Indra, you and Varuṇa, be the minds of what has become, the departed bulls’ cow—let her milk us. May she milk for us, going with the thousand streams, the waters bearing cows over the earth.
Indra and Varuṇa, be the exciters of this our praise, as the bull is of the cows; may that cow (of praise) yield us (reward), like a large cow that has gone forth to pasture, whose thousand channels (are filled) with milk.
O Indra-Varuna, be ye the lovers of this my song, as steers who love the milch-Cow. Milk may it yield us as, gone forth to pasture, the great Cow pouring out her thousand rivers.
