May the great ones grant us greatness with mighty ones—Indra, Varuṇa, in the pair of Vājas. When the shining ones sport among the battalions, may we be yours, united like resplendent chiefs of the dawn.
Mighty Indra and Varuṇa, come to us in battle with (your) powerful protections, and where the bright (weapons) plural y amidst the (hostile) hosts, may we triumph in that conflict (through) your (favour).
Come with your mighty succours, O ye Mighty; come, Indra-Varuna, to us in battle. What time the flashing arrows play in combat, may we through you be winners in the contest.
