यस्त्वा॒ स्वश्वः॑ सुहिर॒ण्यो अ॑ग्न उप॒याति॒ वसु॑मता॒ रथे॑न । तस्य॑ त्रा॒ता भ॑वसि॒ तस्य॒ सखा॒ यस्त॑ आति॒थ्यमा॑नु॒षग्जुजो॑षत्
yastvā svaśvaḥ suhiraṇyo agna upayāti vasumatā rathena tasya trātā bhavasi tasya sakhā yasta ātithyamānuṣagjujoṣat
Who brings thee, O golden-horsed Agni, with wealth upon the chariot, he becomes thy savior; his comrade is he who entertains guests and delights warriors.
You Agni, are the protector of him who, possessed of good horses and a golden car, approaches you with a chariot laden with wealth; you are the friend of him who gratifies you be the due performance of hospitality to you.
Whoso with good steeds and fine gold, O Agni, comes nigh thee on a car laden with trcasure, His Friend art thou, yea, thou art his Protector whose joy it is to entertain thee duly.
