Best to you are fatness and strength; behold the hymn, O radiant Ribhus, you who were dedicated. Truly you are firm among wise poets; with this power I make known these deeds.
An excellent and agreeable form has been assumed by you; (this is our own) praise; Vājas and Ṛbhus be gratified (thereby), for you are wise, experienced, and intelligent; such we make you known (to be) by this (our) prayer.
To you hath been assigned the fairest ornament, the hymn of praise: Vajas and Rbhus, joy therein; For ye have lore and wisdom and poetic skill: as such, with this our prayer we call on you to come.
