sajoṣā indra varuṇena somaṃ sajoṣāḥ pāhi girvaṇo marudbhiḥ agrepābhirṛtupābhiḥ sajoṣā gnāspatnībhī ratnadhābhiḥ sajoṣāḥ
O comrades, Indra and Varuṇa joined Soma with the Maruts in song and voiced it with the Maruts; in front, with the fixed seasons and the wives of Agni, and with jewel-bearing ones they were united.
Sympathizing in satisfaction with Varuṇa, drink, Indra, the Soma juice; drink it, you who are entitled to praise, sympathizing with the Maruts; drink, sympathizing with the first drinkers, with the drinkers (at the sacriices) of the Ṛtus; sympathizing with the protectresses of the wives (of the gods), the giver of wealth.
Close knit with Varuna drink the Soma, Indra; close-knit, ilymn-lover! with the Maruts drink it: Close-knit with drinkers first, who drink in season; close-knit with heavenly Dames who give us treasures.
