य॒दार॒मक्र॑न्नृ॒भवः॑ पि॒तृभ्यां॒ परि॑विष्टी वे॒षणा॑ दं॒सना॑भिः । आदिद्दे॒वाना॒मुप॑ स॒ख्यमा॑य॒न्धीरा॑सः पु॒ष्टिम॑वहन्म॒नायै॑
yadāramakrannṛbhavaḥ pitṛbhyāṃ pariviṣṭī veṣaṇā daṃsanābhiḥ ādiddevānāmupa sakhyamāyandhīrāsaḥ puṣṭimavahanmanāyai
When men could not divide, the ancient ones encompassed the fathers with garments and teeth; the blind became friends of the gods and brought strength to the mind.
When the ṛbhus, by honouring their parents with renovated (youth), and by other works, had achieved enough, they thereupon proceeded to the society of the gods, and, considerate, they bring nourishment to the devout (worshipper).
What time the Rbus had with care and marvels done proper service to assist their Parents, They won the friendship of the Gods; the Sages carried away the fruit of their devotion.
