He who comes, the conqueror, does not go under; thus they proclaim the revered assembly. On his high seat they set blazing fire; a thousand darts, a hundred mighty-armed ones, the thunderbolt-armed stand.

(That Indra), who repairs to the suppliant or (his) protection, to the sage in this manner invoking and praising him; he who, armed with the thunderbolt, plural ces, of his own accord, hundred and thousands of swift-going (horses) in the shafts (of their cars).

He who with succour comes to his implorer, the singer here who with his song invites him; He who himself sets to the pole swift Coursers, he who hath hundreds, thousands, Thunder-wielder.
