na taṃ jinanti bahavo na dabhrā urvasmā aditiḥ śarma yaṃsat priyaḥ sukṛtpriya indre manāyuḥ priyaḥ suprāvīḥ priyo asya somī
Many do not conquer him; Aditi does not cherish that ornament from the early days. Beloved is the well-done, beloved is Indra’s mind; beloved are the excellent ones, and beloved is his Soma.
Him neither many nor few can molest; may Aditi grant him infinite happiness; the performer of pious acts is dear (to Indra); dear to Indra is he whose mind is intent upon him; dear is he who approaches him with homage; dear to him is the offerer of the libation.
Him neither few men overcome, nor many to him shall Aditi give spacious shelter. Dear is the pious, the devout, to Indra dear is the zealous, dear the Soma-bringer.
