को ना॑नाम॒ वच॑सा सो॒म्याय॑ मना॒युर्वा॑ भवति॒ वस्त॑ उ॒स्राः । क इन्द्र॑स्य॒ युज्यं॒ कः स॑खि॒त्वं को भ्रा॒त्रं व॑ष्टि क॒वये॒ क ऊ॒ती
ko nānāma vacasā somyāya manāyurvā bhavati vasta usrāḥ ka indrasya yujyaṃ kaḥ sakhitvaṃ ko bhrātraṃ vaṣṭi kavaye ka ūtī
Who is not subject to speech, to Soma, to mind or to life? What are the streams of wealth? Who is Indra’s worthy one, who a companion, who a brother? Who dwells in good poets, who in the high seat?
Who has reverenced with (suitable) words the (deity) worthy of the libation? who is devoted (to him)? who supports the cattle (given by him)? who desires the society of Indra? who his friendship? who his fraternity? who (has recourse) to the sage Indra for protection?
Who hath with prayer bowed to the Soma-lover? What pious man endues the beams of morning? Who seeks bond, fritridship, brotherhood with Indra? Who hath recourse unto the Sage for succour?
