ya indrāya sunavatsomamadya pacātpaktīruta bhṛjjāti dhānāḥ prati manāyorucathāni haryantasmindadhadvṛṣaṇaṃ śuṣmamindraḥ
He who for Indra cooked the Soma today, the cooked food, the ritual meal, the grains are offered. By the mind’s counter-light they set the bull before Indra; the subtle Indra received the prize.
Indra accepting graciously the praises of his devoted (worshipper), who today pours out the libation to him who toasts the buttered cakes, or fries barley for Indra, exercises towards him the power that grants his desires.
He who this day for Indra presses Soma, prepares the brew and fries the grains of barley- Loving the hymns of that devoted servant, to him may Indra give heroic vigour.
