कृ॒णोत्य॑स्मै॒ वरि॑वो॒ य इ॒त्थेन्द्रा॑य॒ सोम॑मुश॒ते सु॒नोति॑ । स॒ध्री॒चीने॑न॒ मन॒सावि॑वेन॒न्तमित्सखा॑यं कृणुते स॒मत्सु॑
kṛṇotyasmai varivo ya itthendrāya somamuśate sunoti sadhrīcīnena manasāvivenantamitsakhāyaṃ kṛṇute samatsu
He makes abundant rain for him; when Indra drinks the Soma he grows young. With united mind he makes friendship amity among equals.
Indra bestows wealth upon him who offers a libation to him, desiring it, though in another sphere; and, with a humble mind, makes him who is devoted to him his friend in combats.
Indra gives comfort to the man who truly presses, for him who longs fot it, the Soma, Not disaffected, with devoted spirit this man he takes to be his friend in battles.
