ऋ॒तस्य॒ हि शु॒रुधः॒ सन्ति॑ पू॒र्वीरृ॒तस्य॑ धी॒तिर्वृ॑जि॒नानि॑ हन्ति । ऋ॒तस्य॒ श्लोको॑ बधि॒रा त॑तर्द॒ कर्णा॑ बुधा॒नः शु॒चमा॑न आ॒योः
ṛtasya hi śurudhaḥ santi pūrvīrṛtasya dhītirvṛjināni hanti ṛtasya śloko badhirā tatarda karṇā budhānaḥ śucamāna āyoḥ
For the brave of law there are ancient ones; the mind of the law strikes down the robber. The verse of law is deaf; thus the ears of the wise are purified in the two metals.
Many are the waters of ṛta; the adoration of ṛta destroys iniquities; the intelligent and brilliant praise of ṛta has opened the deaf (ears) of man.
Eternal Law hath varied food that strengthens; thought of eternal Law, removes transgressions. The praise-hymn of eternal Law, arousing, glowing, hath oped the deaf ears of the living.
