को अ॑स्य वी॒रः स॑ध॒माद॑माप॒ समा॑नंश सुम॒तिभिः॒ को अ॑स्य । कद॑स्य चि॒त्रं चि॑किते॒ कदू॒ती वृ॒धे भु॑वच्छशमा॒नस्य॒ यज्योः॑
ko asya vīraḥ sadhamādamāpa samānaṃśa sumatibhiḥ ko asya kadasya citraṃ cikite kadūtī vṛdhe bhuvacchaśamānasya yajyoḥ
Who is the hero that attained the rite, who obtained the sharing with noble minds — who is his? Whose was that splendid wonder, whose the aged glory in the established sacrifice?
What hero has enjoyed his fellowship (in battle)? who has been a sharer in his benevolent thoughts? when does any one appreciate his wonderful bounty? when is he (presen) for the promotion of the prosperity of the man who glorifies and worships him?
What hero hath been made his feast-companion? Who hath been partner in his loving-kindness? What know we of his wondrous acts? How often comes he to aid and speed the pious toiler?
