nū ṣṭuta indra nū gṛṇāna iṣaṃ jaritre nadyo3 na pīpeḥ akāri te harivo brahma navyaṃ dhiyā syāma rathyaḥ sadāsāḥ
Not praising Indra, not hating men—this is the purifier in the oblation, not of food nor of drink. The Hari-born made for you new thought; may the chariots be ever-present.
Glorified (in the past), glorified, Indra, at present, satisfy your worshipper with food, as rivers (are filled with water); lord of horses, a new hymn has been made for you; may we possessed of chariots, be ever diligent in our praise.
Now, Indra! lauded,- glorified with praises, let power swell high like rivers to the singer. For thee a new hymn, Lord of Bays, is fashioned. May we, car-borne, through song be victors ever.
