To him who comes we bow, offering praise for the support of speech and for the born decree; let the ancient singers perform Indra in the halls, the priest at the altar.
Let the invoking priest bring to our dwellings that (Indra) who, firmly fixing the (world) returns food for (sacrificial food), and (utters) a voice enjoining (men) to worship; he who is to be propitiated by praises, who is adored by many.
May the Priest, Lord of many blessings, striving,-who fixing reverence on reverence, giving Vent to his voice, inciteth men to worshipwith lauds bring Indra hither to our dwellings.
