The might of great kings grows; we praise that Indra among the hymns. He who conquers by the wind leads the cattle to the pasture and brings them under his sway.
We glorify, in solemn rites, this Indra who rules over substantial, abundant riches; who by his prowess is victor over (hostile) hosts; who by his munificence brings excellent (wealth) to the presence (of his worshippers).
That Indra will we laud in our assemblies, him who is Lord of great and lasting riches, Victor with Vayu where the herds are gathered, who leads with boldness on to higher fortune.
