कया॒ तच्छृ॑ण्वे॒ शच्या॒ शचि॑ष्ठो॒ यया॑ कृ॒णोति॒ मुहु॒ का चि॑दृ॒ष्वः । पु॒रु दा॒शुषे॒ विच॑यिष्ठो॒ अंहोऽथा॑ दधाति॒ द्रवि॑णं जरि॒त्रे
kayā tacchṛṇve śacyā śaciṣṭho yayā kṛṇoti muhu kā cidṛṣvaḥ puru dāśuṣe vicayiṣṭho aṃho'thā dadhāti draviṇaṃ jaritre
Who is he whose voice I hear, the lord of wealth, by whom the ruler acts? Often the man most powerful among the folk gave treasure in the morning and on the yester-day.
By what wisdom is he who is most wise renowned by that wherewith the mighty Indra repeatedly does (great things); he is the especial effacer of the manifold sin of the worshipper, and bestows wealth upon his adorer.
By what great might is he renowned as strongest, wherewith the Lofty One stirs up wild battles? Best soother of the worshipper's great sorrow, he gives possessions to the man who lauds him.
