उ॒शन्नु॒ षु णः॑ सु॒मना॑ उपा॒के सोम॑स्य॒ नु सुषु॑तस्य स्वधावः । पा इ॑न्द्र॒ प्रति॑भृतस्य॒ मध्वः॒ समन्ध॑सा ममदः पृ॒ष्ठ्ये॑न
uśannu ṣu ṇaḥ sumanā upāke somasya nu suṣutasya svadhāvaḥ pā indra pratibhṛtasya madhvaḥ samandhasā mamadaḥ pṛṣṭhyena
O Sun’s juice, pour forth, with gentle mind, the Soma of the invoked; drink, Indra, the honeyed draught of him who offers it with devotion, with my full back bearing it.
Indra, the giver of food, be near to us, favourably disposed; and anxious for our (good), drink of the effused, prepared, exhilarating Soma, and be plural ased by the (sacrificial) food (offered with the noon-day hymn.
Loving us well, benevolent, close beside us, drink, Godlike Indra, of the wellpressed Soma. Drink of the meath we offer, and delight thee with food that cometh from the mountain ridges.
