मा नो॑ मर्धी॒रा भ॑रा द॒द्धि तन्नः॒ प्र दा॒शुषे॒ दात॑वे॒ भूरि॒ यत्ते॑ । नव्ये॑ दे॒ष्णे श॒स्ते अ॒स्मिन्त॑ उ॒क्थे प्र ब्र॑वाम व॒यमि॑न्द्र स्तु॒वन्तः॑
mā no mardhīrā bharā daddhi tannaḥ pra dāśuṣe dātave bhūri yatte navye deṣṇe śaste asminta ukthe pra bravāma vayamindra stuvantaḥ
Do not crush us, O mighty one; grant us that which is to be given to the ruler at the day-dawn, much as is yours. In this new realm, in this hymn, we have spoken of Indra, praising him.
Harm us not, but cherish us, Indra; bestow upon us that abundant wealth which it is yours to give to the donor (of the oblation); praising you, we celebrate you at this sacred rite, which is new and excellent, and (at which the oblation) is proper to be presented.
Slay us not; bring, bestow onus the ample gift which thou hast to give to him who offers. At this new gift, with this laud sung before thee, extolling thee, we, Indra, will declare it.
