Whoever gives you abundant food, who pours forth food, who spreads a feast and delights the assembly — may that steadfast friend of ours be for us a slave in the hall of the gods.
May a son, firm in (devotion) and liberal (in offerings), be born to him who presents (sacrificial) food to you when needing food, who gives you constantly the exhilarating (Soma juice), who welcomes you as a guest, and devoutly kindles you in his mansion.
Who brings thee food, though thou hast food in plenty, welcomes his cheerful guest and speeds him onward, Who kindles thee devoutly in his dwelling,to him be wealth secure and freely giving.
