The eye of dawn with the plenteous rain began to fill; Indra, with winds and drops, endowed the strong ones. The two steeds of might were yoked, the bolsters of the mountains grew firm.
Indra, by his strength, has agitated the exhausted firmament, as wind, by its violent (gusts, agitates) the water; exulting in his strength, he has divided the solid (clouds), and has shattered the peaks of the mountains.
Indra with might shook earth and her foundation as the wind stirs the water with its fury. Striving, with strength he burst the firm asunder, and tore away the summits of the mountains.
