evā tvāmindra vajrinnatra viśve devāsaḥ suhavāsa ūmāḥ mahāmubhe rodasī vṛddhamṛṣvaṃ nirekamidvṛṇate vṛtrahatye
Thus, O Indra of the thunderbolt, you—fosterers all of the gods—have companions; great ones arose with you. The old slayer seeks a single might for slaying Vritra.
Indra, wielder of the thuderbolt, all the protecting deities who are reverently invoked, and both the heaven and the earth, glorify you who are verily one alone, mighty, vast, and plural asing of aspect, for the destruction of Vṛtra.
THEE, verily, O Thunder-wielding Indra, all the Gods here, the Helpers swift to listen, And both the worlds elected, thee the Mighty, High, waxen strong, alone to slaughter Vrtra.
