Now praise Indra, now proclaim him; desire him in the glorifier’s place, not spilling drink. The divine ones made for you a novel splendour of mind—may the chariot ever be yours.
Glorified (in the past), glorified, Indra, at present satisfy your worshipper with food, as rivers (are filled with water); lord of horses, a new hymn has been made for you; may we, possessed of chariots, be ever diligent in your praise.
Now, Indra! lauded, glorified with praises, let power swell high like rivers for the singer. For thee a new hymn, Lord of Bays! is fashioned. May we, car-borne, through song be victors ever.
