Come, Indra, be praised; O singers, invoke him here in battle’s contest, do not thirst. The Maruts made for thee a new breadth of mind; may charioteers ever be ready.
Glorified (in the past), glorified, Indra, at present, satisfy your worshipper with food, as rivers (are filled with water); lord of horses, a new hymn has been made for you; may we possessed of chariots, be ever delighted in (your) praise.
Now, Indra! lauded, glorified with praises, let power swell. high like rivers for the singer. For thee a new hymn, Lord of Bays, is fashioned. May we, car-borne, through song be victors ever.
