ebhirnṛbhirindra tvāyubhiṣṭvā maghavadbhirmaghavanviśva ājau dyāvo na dyumnairabhi santo aryaḥ kṣapo madema śaradaśca pūrvīḥ
O men, declaring Indra to you, the generous with gifts, he encompassed all. The heavens did not withhold the sky; the Aryan held the might; glory and autumn were foremost.
In every battle, Maghavan, may we, along with those men who trust in you and offer rich gifts, like those who are resplendent with riches, triumphing over their foes, glorify you many nights and years.
O Indra, with these men who love thee truly, free givers, Maghavan, in every battle, May we rejoice through many autumns, quelling our foes, as days subdue the nights with splendour.
