आ॒वह॑न्त्यरु॒णीर्ज्योति॒षागा॑न्म॒ही चि॒त्रा र॒श्मिभि॒श्चेकि॑ताना । प्र॒बो॒धय॑न्ती सुवि॒ताय॑ दे॒व्यु१॒॑षा ई॑यते सु॒युजा॒ रथे॑न
āvahantyaruṇīrjyotiṣāgānmahī citrā raśmibhiścekitānā prabodhayantī suvitāya devyu1ṣā īyate suyujā rathena
They bring down the rivers and luminous courses of the heavens and the splendid earth, adorned with shining rays. Awakening, they bring auspicious light; the godly band advances with yoked chariots.
The great and intelligent dawn, variegated with (many-coloured) rays of purple tint, bringing opulence, has come with (her) lustre; the divine Uṣas, arousing (the sleepers), proceeds with her well-harnessed car (to distribute) felicity.
Red Dawn.is come, riding with brightness onward, distinguished by her beams, gay-hued and mighty. Dawn on her nobly-harnessed car, the Goddess, awaking men to happiness, approacheth.
