ते ग॑व्य॒ता मन॑सा दृ॒ध्रमु॒ब्धं गा ये॑मा॒नं परि॒ षन्त॒मद्रि॑म् । दृ॒ळ्हं नरो॒ वच॑सा॒ दैव्ये॑न व्र॒जं गोम॑न्तमु॒शिजो॒ वि व॑व्रुः
te gavyatā manasā dṛdhramubdhaṃ gā yemānaṃ pari ṣantamadrim dṛḷhaṃ naro vacasā daivyena vrajaṃ gomantamuśijo vi vavruḥ
They led the cows with strong minds, binding them around the mountain. The firm man spoke with divine words and drove the herds to the people of cattle.
Devoted to (Agni), those leaders (of sacred rites), with minds intent upon (recovering) the cattle, forced open, by (the power) of divine prayer, the obstructing, compact, solid mountain confining the cows, a cow-pen full of kine.
Eager, with thought intent upon the booty, the men with their celestial speech threw open, The solid mountain firm, compact, enclosing, confining Cows, the stable full of cattle.
