They invoke thee at the ways, O lord of forests, with divine mead. If thou standest high in the wealth that runs, give now what remains, lest thy mother’s portion fail thee.
Vanaspati, the devout anoint you with sacred butter at the sacrifice; and whether you stand erect, or your abode be on the lap of this your mother (earth), grant us riches.
GOD-SERVING men, O Sovran of the Forest, with heavenly meath at sacrifice anoint thee. Grant wealth to us when thou art standing upright as when reposing on this Mother's bosom.
