म॒हाँ आ॑दि॒त्यो नम॑सोप॒सद्यो॑ यात॒यज्ज॑नो गृण॒ते सु॒शेवः॑ । तस्मा॑ ए॒तत्पन्य॑तमाय॒ जुष्ट॑म॒ग्नौ मि॒त्राय॑ ह॒विरा जु॑होत
mahām̐ ādityo namasopasadyo yātayajjano gṛṇate suśevaḥ tasmā etatpanyatamāya juṣṭamagnau mitrāya havirā juhota
The great Aditya approaches with homage; the people acclaim the well-served one. Therefore let this choice oblation be rightly offered on Agni to Mitra as sacrificial food.
The great Āditya, the animator of men to exertion, is to be approached with reverence; he is the giver of happiness to him who praises him; offer with fire the acceptable libation to that most glorifiable Mitra.
The great Aditya, to be served with wor. ship, who stirreth men, is gracious to the singer. To Mitra, him most highly to be lauded, offer in fire oblation that he loveth.
