अ॒न॒मी॒वास॒ इळ॑या॒ मद॑न्तो मि॒तज्ञ॑वो॒ वरि॑म॒न्ना पृ॑थि॒व्याः । आ॒दि॒त्यस्य॑ व्र॒तमु॑पक्षि॒यन्तो॑ व॒यं मि॒त्रस्य॑ सुम॒तौ स्या॑म
anamīvāsa iḷayā madanto mitajñavo varimannā pṛthivyāḥ ādityasya vratamupakṣiyanto vayaṃ mitrasya sumatau syāma
Like a steer yoked by the rope, the wise lovers of Mitra, filling the earth with rain, uphold the Sun's vow; may we be in Mitra's good counsel.
May we, exempt from disease, rejoicing in (abundant) food, roaming free over the wide (expanse) of the earth, diligent in the worship of Āditya, ever be in the good favour of Mitra.
joying in sacred food and free from sickness, with knees bent lowly on the earth's broad surface, Following closely the Aditya's statute, may we remain in Mitra's gracious favour.
