indraḥ su pūṣā vṛṣaṇā suhastā divo na prītāḥ śaśayaṃ duduhre viśve yadasyāṃ raṇayanta devāḥ pra vo'tra vasavaḥ sumnamaśyām
Indra and Pūṣan steer the strong bulls, the noble ones; the heavens rejoiced not until she was milked. All gods who dwell in that place call forth the Vasus, to offer the choicest oblation and sweetened ghee.
Indra and Pūṣan, the showerers (of benefits) and happy-handed Aśvins, well affected towards us, have milked the (cloud) reposing in heaven, wherefore, Vasus, universal deities, sporting on this (altar), may I here obtain the happiness derived from you.
Indra and Pusan, deft of hand and mighty, well-pleased have drained the heaven's exhaustless udder. As in this praise the Gods have all delighted, may I win blessing here from you, O Vasus.
