The envoy slipped away and entered within; the great ones moved with splendour. He bore forms of men and did not fail us — greatness of gods and men alone.
In those (plural nts) the aged messenger (of the gods) constantly abides; mighty, he presses with the radiant (sun) through the region of space; assuming various forms, he looks (complacently) upon us; great and unequalled is the might of the gods.
Deep within these the hoary envoy pierceth; mighty, he goeth to the realm of splendour, And looketh on us, clad in wondrous beauty. Great is the Gods' supreme and sole dominion.
