Great indeed are you, bards of fair names; what the gods became was through Indra. Friends, with Rbhus and beloved priests, unite this intelligence and fashion it for us.
Sages acquainted with the past, excellent is that beautiful appellation under which you have both become gods in (the sphere of) Indra; do you, Indra, the invoked of many, a friend, (associated) with the beloved ṛbhus, shape this prayer for our benefit.
This is, ye Wise, your great and glorious title, that all ye Deities abide in Indra. Friend, Much-invoked! art thou with thy dear Rbhus: fashion ye this our hymn for our advantage.
