A serpent-bodied one causing harm was given by Jamadagni; the sun’s daughter milked him; the fathers among the gods stirred up immortality for us.
The daughter of Sūrya given by Jamadagni gliding everywhere and dissipating ignorance, has emitted a mighty (sound), and has diffused ambrosial imperishable food among the gods.
Sasarpari, the gift of Jamadagnis, hath lowed with mighty voice dispelling famine. The Daughter of the Sun hath spread our glory among the Gods, imperishable, deathless.
