aptūrye maruta āpireṣo'mandannindramanu dātivārāḥ tebhiḥ sākaṃ pibatu vṛtrakhādaḥ sutaṃ somaṃ dāśuṣaḥ sve sadhasthe
The Maruts have brought this draught, poured forth by Indra, like butter and pleasant food. With them may the slayers of Vṛtra drink the Soma, the singers in their seats.
Maruts, this is your friend for sending of the waters; they (the Maruts), the givers of strength, have yielded Indra gratification; may the devourer of Vṛtra drink with them the libation offered by the worshipper in his abode.
He was your comrade in your zeal, O Maruts: they, rich in noble gifts, rejoiced in Indra. With them together let the Vrtra-slayer drink in his home the worshipper's libation.
