Guard here the Soma pressed by force, Indra, with the Maruts as friends for our son. That which was born, adorned by the gods, the mighty sacrificer bears through the great offering to all.
Do you, Indra, who is gratified by the Soma, drink the Soma that has been effused by us, together with your friends, the Maruts, at this ceremony; you who is invoked of many, and whom all the gods equipped as soon as born for the great battle (with the asuras).
So eagerly desirous drink the Soma, our juice, O Indra, with thy friends the Maruts, Since at thy birth all Deities adorned thee for the great fight, O thou invoked of many.
